With the released of Chapter 3, this concludes Arc 1 of Jarl Junto.

As much as I would like to continue developing on JJ, with not much going on with it, I have decided to put the project on a permanent hiatus.

I did have the whole story planned out, so theres potential to finish the visual novel. But as time went on as I kept working on JJ, and with no support coming along with JJ, I started losing interest in its development. JJ was a side project that I wanted to do before working on my earlier project, Lady Lilac. I wanted to finish JJ first, in order to experience a whole project before tackling a bigger project that Lady Lilac would end up becoming.

That said, after learning what it takes to work on JJ, I have a... more experienced idea of what it takes to work on another visual novel project. With that in mind, I didn't want to continue working on JJ if my heart is not in on it. If I did power through, I most likely would not be able to work on it without the same passion I used to have and the project would either no longer be something I would like and ended in a rushed manner or I would burn out and abandon the project. That was something I don't want to do so I decided to end the development after releasing chapter 3.

Now, Will I continue JJ later on in the near future? I would absolutely return to JJ at some point.
If enough people overtime has shown interest and support for Jarl Junto, I would gladly continue it but as of right now, I'd rather work on another project rather than burning through it and not do a good job with it overtime. For now, I will be returning to doing art illustrations while I take my time working on future projects.
